WHAT WOULD I DO IF I HAD 500 BILLION DOLLARS. By OLUMADEWA ADEBUSUYI OLUTAYO

If I had 500 Billion Dollars I will build a Leadership library in all Government Schools in Africa. From elementary level to primary to Secondary, Colleges of Education, Polytechnics, and Universities, in every estates and in every streets in Africa . The leadership Library will be different from the school’s library. It is not designed for every student but for selected students with a great interest of becoming the answer to the cry of many. It is a library that will have books from great inspiring and innovative authors who through faith and patience subdued kingdoms. The library will have books that will develop leadership, creativity, financial intelligence, discipline, character, competence, honesty, integrity, teamwork in people  and make them become asset to their generation. The library will encourage, enable and empower the generations in creating environment that works in Africa and build the needed courage to stand for truth.

ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE
The seeds of great discoveries are constantly floating around us, but they only take root in the minds of people well prepared to receive them—Joseph Henry

“A lost battle is a battle one thinks one has lost “Field Marshal Ferdinand Foch, French Army

When God gave us? the vision of the leadership library. I met with an architect and shared the vision with him. He embraced the idea and gave laudable reasons why it would work. He even went as far as designing the implementation plan for the idea. The truth is that people will always discourage you and give reasons why you cannot be the change but it is left to you to either allow people’s opinion to count or not “Two men looked out from the prison bars. One saw mud, the other saw stars.” —Anon. Remember what Napoleon Hills says, “Who said it could not be done? And tell me what great victories he has to his credit which qualifies him to judge what can and can’t be accomplished.” Note; there is always plenty of capital for those who can create practical plans for using it.

THE POWER OF YOU

Those who have faith are those who act what can be seen not what they can look at.
Tayo Olumadewa

There are things in the world that a lot never knew are possible until the Bible tells us it is possible. If we read the stories of Daniel in the lion’s den, the three Hebrew men in the furnace, all we can say is God is God. The truth is that he is God and He is the owner of the Universe. If we continue the study of the fathers of faith, we will realize that there is nothing impossible to us in the world if we can only believe. But many still find it difficult to believe because they thought they are just mere stories. So what they kept inside of them and what they do are two different things. The truth is that there are great things about yourself that you have not seen- there is You in you that you have not known. There is a great you that still needs to be discovered if you are ready to live a higher life which is a life of significance.
It was recorded that some years ago, a young clergyman by the name of Gunsaulus announced in the newspaper of Chicago that he would preach a sermon the following Sunday morning titled “WHAT I WOULD DO IF I HAD A MILION DOLLARS!
The announcement caught of the eye of D. ARMOUR, the wealthy packing house king, who decided to hear his sermon.
In his sermon Dr Gunsaulus pictured a great school of technology where young men and women could be taught how to succeed in life by developing the ability to think in practical rather than in theoretical terms: Where they would be taught to learn by doing “ If I had a million dollars, “said the young preacher, I would start such school”.
After the sermon was over, Mr Armour walked down the aisle to the pulpit , introduced himself, and said , Young man , I believe you could do all you said you could , and if you will come down to my office tomorrow morning,  I will give you the million dollars you need. There is always a plenty of capital for those who can create practical plans for using it. That was the beginning of the Armour Institute of Technology, one of the very practical schools of the country.  The Question I asked my myself is what would I do if I had 500 Billion Dollars?

Those Who dare Win

It has been said that there is a place for those who decide to be different, those who dare to dream and those who do the dream. Those who dare get, and those who do not dare, do not get. Each of us is unique for we were bought with a price. Our creator did the sacrifice in order for us to win and to radiate His glory. It is high time we became the major players and stop criticizing. Remember the stage is set for those who make the wheels spin. They are those that command the respect, admiration and affection of many. These days individuals have made the love of money their focus and have neglected pursuing core values which has translated to low gross mental output and total loss of voices. It is only when they are able to find their own voices that they can inspire others in finding theirs. This will in turn ignite their passion in daring to win. So in order not to expire; we need to be inspired so as to aspire unto greater heights.

You don’t know how powerful you are until you do it

Thomas Edison was a great inventor. An individual that single handedly discovered 9999 ways in which a light bulb will not work. Why didn’t he quit at that time of his experience, why didn’t he give up? It is because he decided to stay with it; he decided to believe more in it.
“Most important things in the world have been accomplished by the people who have kept trying when there seemed to be hope at all”- Dale Carnegie

What Thomas Edison discovered so many years ago is what we are all enjoying now. We can all see the impact of his discovery all over the world. What would have happened if he had given up? This suggests that no matter the situation or circumstances, stay with your dream and the heat will be over.
The truth is that  One Hundred years from now, it will not matter what kind of car I drove, what kind of house i lived in, how much money I had in my bank account  nor what my clothes looked like. But the world may be little better because I was important in the life of a child.(Anonymous) it is what you build that many will remember and this is what makes you the change. Why not stamp your name among the heroes who through faith subdued kingdoms, why not be the change that will bring smiles to the eyes of many, why not use what you have to create an environment that works for people by educating a mind with relevant information- Remember what you do echoes from now till eternity. Sometimes when opportunities like this happen, many people have mixed feelings; remember it is normal because it is what the environment has thought. But the great journey of mountain climbers starts with a team of dedicated, focused and determined team to achieve the objective.
