Thank
you all for reading our articles. I have been receiving e-mails from far and
near, from young and the old, from boys and girls and all I am saying is thank
you lord for making me the vessel unto honour fit for His use. To our readers, this is our victory and not
mine. What would have happened if you don’t create time out of your busy
schedules to read our articles? Dear Lord I am grateful. I pray that you will
always come high in every of your endeavors in Jesus Name.
Someone
said why are you against the church, why chose the topic when you have great
topics like you can be the dream series. My response is this. I don’t want to
do it but the instructions came from the owner of the wisdom and since that’s
where I receive my orders from, I have no choice than to follow orders. I am a
man under authority and anytime instructions come, I follow it to details. This
is an instruction from the most High, creator of the universe which is towards us
in maximizing our manifold daily life.
When
God want to do something new, he looks for those that are available for him. The
question – are you available for his call? It is because something great is
coming your way which is the reason for the series. Remember when opportunity
comes, it is too late to prepare. These are to prepare us on the aspect of our
lives we are not taking cognizance off as a believer. It is to let us know where to adjust, which to
adjust and what to adjust so that we will not miss our blessing. Sometimes we
assume that some people are aware of certain things in their life, but it is
until you move close to them that you find out that they don’t know. This makes
many of us live in assumption. The thing is that they are not aware of it and
until we inform them we cannot see the change we are expecting from them. This
message is a call to the body of Christ to wake up and take their place in
becoming the real change they have been praying for.
Truth
is not bitter, it is heavy and that is why only few people carry it. There is no
substitute for truth. Truth is truth and nothing on earth can replace the
truth. The truth is what makes men free. It is what defeats the adversary. Truth
is a weapon that defeats bad when deployed. Truth is a dynamic weapon that can
break any barrier that is not of GOD. Truth is a weapon that can pull down strongholds
in our minds. Truth is that weapon that gives victory in time of fledging situations.
There is no software that can make you say the truth. You are the software for
the truth. Therefore truth is truth.
Our
understanding of the situation is important. It is divided into three,
comprehension, discernment and interpretation. How do we comprehend what we hear?
what are we discerning concerning what we are listening to and how are we
interpreting what we hear daily, this is
what guide us to know how many of us are shortchanging ourselves all because we
cannot regulate our belly. Our understanding of the reason for living is the
first law of the truth that we must know. This gives us the dimensions to which
we can win in a time that visionary are the only people that count. But it is
amazing that many people’s understanding towards the wonder working power of
GOD is toward what they will get or eat. It is the lowest way of living. It is
an insult to the maker of the universe to realize that the only thing you can
do with the content (gift) in you is to
feed yourself alone. It is shame to an individual whose interpretation of life
is survival as against being significance. When our interpretation of life is
just what to get, our principles are threaten and we become desperate and
dangerous to our environment. We become a prey that hunt and hurt people not
knowing this is what we do to people daily. We assassinate our compassion all
because we want to achieve what we want. We ride on people’s intelligence and
we fuel our capacity for pride taking it as smartness.
If
the mindset of a pastor is towards position and possession, all the members
will be like him. This means we will have a large number of desperate and
dangerous people with no capacity for empathy and love. And if there is no love
in a church, there won’t be progress in the church. We will have few prosperous
individuals whose mission is to hide themselves while the rest will be
worshipping them thinking they are serving GOD.
Another
dimension we have to understand is to know that church is spiritual hospital. We
go to church to service our spirit. As a baby, there is time to take milk but
when we have grown we take meat. The same way it’s applicable in church. We
have babies in church and we have matured ones either. They are referred to as
the leaders. But when those that are leaders carve out messages that will
benefit themselves alone and call it revelation, this is where the element of
surprise is. This is when we make the message our message and not HIS message. It
is our responsibility to teach undiluted word with engrafted wisdom to His people
so that they can be the light to their world and not the light in their room.
It
was said that a candle loses nothing lighting another candle. With its action
it will be easier for its flame to be lighted again in case it goes off. It
amazes me how people choose to live their lives. Albert Einstein said “the true
value of a human being is determined primarily by the measure and the sense in
which he has attained liberation from the self”. How valuable are you to the
world? Are you one of those balancing the ecosystem? He continued by saying
“our whole actions and desires are bound with the existence of other human
beings. We eat food that others have grown, wear clothes that others have made;
live in houses that others have built. The greater part of our knowledge and
belief has been communicated to us by other people through the medium of a
language which others have created. This tells us that our whole being is
dependent on another. An individual that you have helped in fulfilling his
assignment means you have helped millions to achieve theirs.
Finally,
I remember the story of a musical duo in Nigeria. They needed N40, 000 to
record their first album. A man sponsored the recording few years ago. Today,
the musical duo worth millions of dollars and they have won many national
awards. They acknowledged him and made public his impact on their lives. On one
of their albums, the investor said “I have sold more than a million copies of
this recent album” what he thought he did for them is actually for himself. It
is only God that knows where he would have been if he had not helped the duo.
And it is only God that knows where you will be if you do not follow what many
say. Remember, an author once said “those who bring sunshine to others cannot
keep it from themselves''. A lot of us need to realize this. Our lives which we
have deliberately conditioned for selfish purposes must be reviewed so that we
can collectively make our nation great.
