WHO ARE THE BOKO HARAM: PART 3

WHO ARE THE BOKO HARAM is the question that I keep asking myself day and night. The events in my country in the last few months made me think if we are practicing democracy or drama-cracy. It is becoming a thing of concern to read that young people who are meant to be the change that will inspire greatness into the world are the victims of power tussle thereby causing highest level of mental degradation in the society. Many that are meant to be the answer to the cry of many have lost their hope in becoming the change that many are praying. What happened to us?

Day by day, people are dying; day by day many dreams are buried. Day by day, wisdom working abilities that could have changed the world are buried. Day by day, many are losing their voices because of their inability to look inward and hear the beautiful voice saying “You can.” No wonder, it is often said the richest place on the earth is the cemetery. There, remains of presidents and kings that never ascended the throne are found, prime ministers that never were are found; geniuses that never shone are also found. What a pity! The question is what would have happened if Bill Gates was born in an environment like ours at a time like this?
What of if Thomas Edison and the Starrett brothers were Nigerians existing as kids now, would they have the opportunity to become the producer in which they were?

Over the years, we keep hearing that we are the leaders of tomorrow, but the tomorrow never comes yet it is the same set of people that said such 10 years ago that are still saying it. It seems to me that we don’t care about our young people and that is why we introduce stomach infrastructure as against quality education. How come it is now that a group said they are against western education that many are proposing strike action as a way of getting what they want? How com e we are not thinking about the future of the nation? This made me to ask this question again, WHO ARE THE BOKO HARAM’S. Is there anything we don’t know that we need to know? May be you need to study “Who are the Boko Haram Part 1 and 2”at www.dothedreamydi.blogspot.com

Nigeria was described as a “Nation that is orchestrated to administrate and not to produce” some years ago and we are following the opinion that made the western people say we are only administrators. If we keep going this way, are we not assassinating those that are meant to be our producer? And moreover where are those that are to be our producers- another day’s topic
Saw this yesterday from a Wale Olajumoke…. And we want young people to take education as the big deal
Rewards in Entertainment
  • MTN project fame: N7.5m + SUV;
  • Etisalat Nigerian Idol: N5m + multimillion Naira Contract
  • Glo naija sings: N5m + SUV
  • Gulder ultimate search: N10m plus endorsements;
  • Footballers earn millions of dollars
  • Politicians with SSCE earns millions
Rewards in Education:
Also, considering the fact that teachers and lecturers earn far less compared to what politicians earn. Then tell yourself the truth, why will the youths not neglect education for entertainment?
Education is the bedrock of any society. It is what built the nation and inspire the nations in our nation to become the change. Education is the key. Any nation that does not take cognizance of education is joking with the future of the nation. We should join our hands to create environment that works for Education in our country and all over the nations that are having this same challenge.
