The just concluded membership registration of All Progress Congress is
giving President Goodluck Jonathan and his political strategists serious
headache, as he plans to declare his presidential ambition for 2015.
President Jonathan was locked in a closed door meeting with governors elected on the platform of PDP for the most part of Monday night in Aso Rock, to strategize on how to counter the APC's growing popularity.
The large turn out of Nigerians for APC registrations is said to be a major problem because most Nigerians are not keen about voting and since the APC already have a large percentage of those who will vote in the party's register as its members, then there is a serious cause to fear...
A source in Abuja told OluFamous.Com that it was Governor Liyel Imoke who prompted President Jonathan to call the meeting as it appears he is loosing more supporters even in the South-South where the people are of the opinion that they can't see anything on ground to justify his election in 2011.
They also pleaded with Governor Sule Lamido to be at the meeting where all issue will be addressed before the decision is taken for Jonathan to declare his 2015 ambition. And the governor showed up.
An insider in APC who spoke to OluFamous.Com said the party is aware of the moves but stated that they are in for a bigger surprise as two or three more governors will leave them and join APC very soon.

It is said that PDP may come up with a campaign against Gen. Muhammadu
Buhari so that the APC can drop him as their candidate as they see him
as one man who can gather enough votes to defeat Jonathan.
