REAL INVESTMENT BOOK FROM TAYO OLUMADEWA

REAL INVESTMENT BOOK FROM TAYO OLUMADEWA

It was said that a candle loses nothing lighting another candle. With its action it will be easier for its flame to be lighted again in case it goes off. It amazes me how people choose to live their lives. Albert Einstein said “the true value of a human being is determined primarily by the measure and the sense in which he has attained liberation from the self”. How valuable are you to the world? Are you one of those balancing the ecosystem? He continued by saying “our whole actions and desires are bound with the existence of other human beings. We eat food that others have grown, wear clothes that others have made; live in houses that others have built. The greater part of our knowledge and belief has been communicated to us by other people through the medium of a language which others have created.
This tells us that our whole being is dependent on another.
In a nation where some say the uncertainty is what to expect, remember you can not think in a wrong way and act in a positive way. Jame Allen, the author of “as a man thinketh” a book which is partly responsible for launching an entire self improvement industry said “a man is literally what he thinks, his character being the complete sum of all his thoughts” we must remind ourselves about where we start from in other to make and change our thinkings toward our action so that we can preserve the respect and affection of our nation.
Note this; Real Investment is helping others become who God want them to be. If you help an individual to the top, you are indeed helping yourself, for this is your assignment.
Remember this is Nigeria- each of us has a role to play in making our nation great. An individual that you have helped in fulfilling his assignment means you have helped millions to achieve theirs. I remember the story of a musical duo in Nigeria. They needed N40, 000 to record their first album. A man sponsored the recording few years ago. Today, the musical duo worth millions of dollars and they have won many national awards. They acknowledged him and made public his impact on their lives. On one of their albums, the investor said “I have sold more than a million copies of this recent album” what he thought he did for them is actually for himself. It is only God that knows where he would have been if he had not helped the duo. And it is only God that knows where you will be if you do not follow what many say. Remember, an author once said “those who bring sunshine to others cannot keep it from themselves''. A lot of us need to realize this. Our lives which we have deliberately conditioned for selfish purposes must be reviewed so that we can collectively make our nation great.

In the speech by President Barak Obama, towards the devastating earthquake that rumbled Haiti, he said “Americans will not rest until all its citizen has been accounted for”. He told the world that despite American's assistance, their main agenda was the Americans in HAITI. In our national anthem, “the labors of our heroes past shall never be in vain “shows that we must continue from where they stopped. Our forefathers focused on value and not money. Albert Einstein in the world as I see it said “each of us is here for brief sojourn. We exist for our fellow men in the first place, for those smiles and welfare we are mean to fulfill. As hundred times every day I remind myself that my inner and outer life depends on the labour of other men, living and dead and that I must exert myself in order to give same measure I have received and still receiving. Whether we like it or not, we will be remembered for what we build and not what we do. So what we build now echoes from now till eternity.
